Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic/ fabricator and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and restore. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, fabrication and vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and optimal operation. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently. Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on GM vehicles and heavy equipment. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle quality meets industry standards. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus independent shop environments. Strong background in automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair, transmission repair, and suspension system repair. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, oil change procedures, brake repair, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement. Experience working with schematics for troubleshooting complex mechanical systems. Knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics a plus. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices while maintaining safety standards. Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
