Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and optimal operation. Work on diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics tasks such as air brake systems and diesel engine repairs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service tools efficiently to complete repairs with precision. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle repairs meet quality standards. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including electrical, suspension, transmission, brakes, and powertrain components. Ability to read schematics and automotive diagnostics software confidently. Hands-on experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), alignment services, and automotive electrical systems. Knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics or diesel mechanics is a plus. Familiarity with auto estimating software and experience working with GM vehicles is advantageous. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training in automotive repair. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repairs.
