Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Onsite Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles on-site. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our ongoing projects and operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with used vehicles and utilize your mechanical skills in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping vehicles in peak condition. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics, automotive diagnostics, and specifications. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, and other critical components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and fabrication techniques to repair or modify machinery. Operate heavy equipment Maintain detailed service records including maintenance logs, repair reports, and inspection checklists. Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines during all maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and farm machinery servicing. Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic issues. Ability to perform welding, tire service, brake repair, alignment, and assembly tasks effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation to support operational needs effectively.
