In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and expertise will ensure a smooth, transparent, and positive experience for every client. You will coordinate between customers, technicians, and parts venors to deliver exceptional service, accurately document vehicle issues, and promote additional services that enhance vehicle performance and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your automotive knowledge while engaging with a diverse clientele in a lively environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Clearly explain recommended repairs and maintenance options, including auto estimating and upselling appropriate services Write detailed service orders, accurately documenting vehicle symptoms, technician recommendations, and customer requests Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, and diesel engine repairs Manage customer inquiries professionally via phone or in person, providing updates on vehicle status and explaining repair procedures Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records of all service activities Promote additional automotive services like alignments, shocks & struts replacements, air brake systems, auto body repairs, and other specialized diagnostics to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue Experience Proven dealership or auto shop experience with a strong background in auto service management or automotive diagnostics Hands-on mechanic experience or service technician background is highly desirable to better understand technical issues Knowledge of automotive repair procedures across various systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspension components, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and alignments Familiarity with auto estimating software and automotive service writing best practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Experience in upselling automotive services while maintaining integrity and customer trust Basic cash handling skills combined with a solid understanding of automobile sales processes are advantageous Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding automotive care!
