Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automotive Technician / Mechanic B Tech and Oil Tech to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our fleet and customer vehicles running smoothly, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver exceptional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive vehicles, in a fast-paced environment that values precision and efficiency. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicle electrical systems, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components using diagnostic tools and personal knowledge. Conduct repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and heavy trucks and motorhomes. Utilize and own hand tools, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to repair or assemble mechanical parts and systems. Conduct tire services including mounting and balancing, flat repair, shock & strut replacements, and suspension repairs to ensure vehicle safety standards are met. Diagnose electrical issues within automotive electrical systems; perform some soldering or wiring repairs as needed. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs accurately for quality assurance. Qualifications Proven experience working in a automotive environment setting with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software for vehicle maintenance. Basic understanding of diesel mechanics, vehicle electrical systems, HVAC systems, and transmissions. Ability to lift heavy 50lbs to 100lbs objects safely; comfortable performing heavy lifting tasks as needed.
