Overview We are looking for an experienced Auto Mechanic to join Xtreme Autosports. The individual in this role will be responsible for servicing cars brought into the shop, from basic maintenance and minor repairs to installing aftermarket car parts, which may include custom work. We are seeking a candidate with a background in automotive care and experience with electronic systems maintenance. We are a fun shop with interesting vehicles. Duties & Responsibilities Examine and diagnose vehicles based on customer requests and/or concerns. Perform maintenance including rotating tires, checking fluid levels, and changing oil. Repair/replace worn parts & systems such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems, sensors, etc. Test systems and individual parts to ensure proper working order and/or to evaluate condition Identify mechanical and electrical problems using both diagnostic tools and the naked eye. Determine appropriate repair measures based on research, peer-to-peer examination, and past experience. Good communicationClearly communicate parts and time required to showroom staff so they can contact customer. Perform repairs thoroughly as well as quality control. Ensure customer satisfaction at all times. Must be detail oriented. Position Requirements Competent use of repair and workflow software and other job related computer functions. 5+ years experience with diesel , turbo and natural aspirated engines. 3+ years installing vehicle suspension systems (lowering/lifting) Experience in aftermarket suspension and performance. Completion of automotive certificate programs (ASE certified preferred). Ability to work on any vehicle, regardless of make and model. •Must provide valid professional references Thank you, we look forward to receiving your application for consideration.
