Job Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Lube/Maintenance Technician! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of vehicle upkeep, ensuring cars and light trucks operate smoothly and safely. Your expertise will keep vehicles in top condition through routine maintenance, fluid replacements, and minor repairs. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Conduct basic inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical issues or potential safety concerns. Assist with minor mechanical repairs such as brake adjustments, belt replacements, and other standard passenger car repairs. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete maintenance tasks efficiently. Support wheel alignments, tire services, and other automotive service procedures to maintain vehicle safety standards. Lift heavy components and perform physical tasks required for vehicle servicing with proper safety precautions. Maintain detailed records of all services performed and communicate findings clearly to team members or customers. Requirements Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred. Hands-on mechanic experience with standard passenger cars and light trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment safely. Experience with automotive fluid replacement including oil changes, coolant flushes, and transmission fluid services. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs. Basic understanding of alignment procedures, tire service, and minor mechanical repairs. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
