Northern California Location:
Sunnyvale, CA |
Schedule:
Full-time |
Pay:
$45•50/flat rate hour + bonuses The short version We move more Toyotas through our service drive than almost any store in Northern California. That matters to you for one reason: hours. Our techs aren't sitting in the lounge waiting on dispatch — the work is here, every day, all year. If you're a Toyota tech who's tired of chasing 30 hours a week, or a strong tech from another brand ready to get certified on the highest-volume nameplate in America, we want to talk. Why techs stay here Consistent hours. 200-250+ ROs a month. Our top flat-rate techs regularly turn 50-60+ hours a week. Real pay. $45 to $50 per flat rate hour depending on certification and experience, plus a guarantee while you ramp. Your own bay, your own lift. No sharing, no shuffling. Modern shop. Factory tooling, current Techstream/diagnostic equipment, alignment rack, hybrid and EV-certified bays, clean and climate-controlled. Toyota pays for your growth. We cover certification training on the clock — Toyota Certified through Master Diagnostic Technician, including hybrid/EV. Fair dispatch. Work is distributed by skill level and availability, not by who's friendly with the dispatcher. A shop that's staffed. Full-time porters, dedicated express team, and enough advisors that you're not writing your own tickets. What you'll be doing Diagnosing and repairing Toyota vehicles across the full range — gas, hybrid, and BEV Performing warranty, recall, customer-pay, and internal repairs to factory standards Documenting diagnosis, cause, and correction clearly enough to survive a warranty audit Test-driving to verify concerns and confirm repairs Keeping your bay, tools, and equipment in professional condition Mentoring express and entry-level techs as you move up the ladder What we're looking for Required Automotive repair experience in a dealership or high-volume independent shop Valid driver's license with an insurable record Your own hand tools (rollaway and specialty tools available for qualified hires — ask us) Ability to consistently produce quality work at a flat-rate pace Preferred — and rewarded in your pay Toyota certification at any level (Certified, Expert, Master, or Master Diagnostic) Toyota Hybrid/EV certification ASE certifications T-TEN graduates Import experience if you're coming from another brand We hire at every level. Lube and express techs with the right attitude, mid-level techs ready to move up, and Master Diagnostic Techs who want a store big enough to keep them busy — there's a seat here for all three. Pay and benefits $45•50 per flat rate hour based on certification and production $8,000 sign-on bonus for certified Toyota techs Relocation assistance for the right candidate Production and CSI bonuses Medical, dental, and vision 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Paid factory training Tool program and uniform service Employee pricing on vehicles, parts, and service 4-day or 5-day work week — no Sundays
