Overview Join our dynamic collision repair team as an Auto Shop Helper! This energetic role is perfect for individuals eager to learn about automotive repair while helping with daily task. As an Auto Shop Helper, you will play a vital part in ensuring our shop runs smoothly, assisting with vehicle parts, clean work area, and maintain our facility clean. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry Responsibilities Assist with vehicle detailing Maintain our facility clean in production area and office Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning parts, tools, and work areas regularly. Support automotive parts and accessories handling, including inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. Assist with auto estimating and vehicle inspections to prepare repair plans and cost estimates for customers. Skills Knowledge of standard passenger car operation and basic mechanical systems. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, repairs, and automotive electrical systems. Experience with automotive tire changes, vehicle inspections, and general auto service procedures. Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics. Mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive parts, accessories, and repair processes is highly desirable. Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
