Automotive Restoration Technician

Sports Car Craftsmen is looking for talented and friendly new members of the team. For nearly 30 years, SCC has provided the community of British Sports Car enthusiasts with the parts, service and advice that bring their passion projects back to the road. Now, we are looking to the community to fill a valuable position in the shop. Our specialty are pre-OBD sports cars from England. As such, knowledge of conventional ignition systems and carburetors is preferable. We provide nearly all services in-house; from routine maintenance, to concours nut-and-bolt restorations. We are a tight-knit group of problem solvers, with passion and creativity, and we are looking for more than just a "parts changer" who spends the day bending wrenches -- Do you have experience in restoration? Do you take the time to find out WHY something failed and prevent it happening again? Can you come up with three different ways to repair what's in your hands? More important to us than experience with the specific systems we service is the desire to learn. Despite all the chaos over the last few years, we are busier than ever, and we need individuals who are friendly, mindful and focused on quality.
