Colorado Engine & Complete Auto Repair is a family-owned automotive repair facility serving the Denver metro area since 1983. We specialize in engine and transmission replacement, advanced diagnostics, fleet maintenance, and complete automotive repair. Our team is known for technical expertise, honest recommendations, and exceptional customer service. We're offering a unique opportunity for an ambitious, entry-level or up-and-coming Service Advisor to train alongside some of the industry's most experienced professionals. If you're eager to build a long-term career in automotive service, this position provides hands-on mentorship in one of Colorado's most technically advanced independent repair shops. Position Overview We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor who is excited to learn and grow. In this role, you'll work directly with experienced advisors and technicians to develop the skills needed to become a top-performing Service Advisor. You'll be the bridge between our customers and technicians, helping clients understand their vehicle's needs while learning the technical side of automotive repair in a supportive, fast-paced environment. No one is expected to know everything on day one—we're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong communication skills, and a desire to learn. What You'll Learn Advanced automotive diagnostics and repair recommendations Engine and transmission replacement sales Customer communication and relationship building Vehicle inspections and estimate preparation Fleet maintenance coordination Service writing and workflow management Parts sourcing and repair planning Sales techniques built around honesty and education—not pressure Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide an outstanding first impression Listen carefully to customer concerns and document vehicle symptoms Learn to explain repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly and confidently Assist in preparing repair estimates and service orders Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery Recommend maintenance and repair services that genuinely benefit customers Follow up after repairs to ensure complete customer satisfaction Build lasting customer relationships through trust, professionalism, and communication Continue developing technical knowledge through hands-on training and mentorship Qualifications Passion for the automotive industry and helping people Excellent communication and customer service skills Positive attitude with a willingness to learn every day Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Basic automotive knowledge is preferred but not required Experience in retail, hospitality, sales, or customer service is a plus Previous automotive service advisor experience is welcomed but not required Comfortable using computers and learning shop management software Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Why Join Colorado Engine?
