Job Description
Elite AutoWorks - Castle Rock, CO Full-Time | Monday-Friday | No Weekends Overview Elite AutoWorks is looking for a motivated and dependable General Service (GS) Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Castle Rock. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who has a solid foundation in automotive maintenance and repair and wants to continue developing their skills in a professional, fast-paced independent repair facility. As a GS Technician, you will be responsible for routine maintenance, vehicle inspections, tire services, fluid services, and light mechanical repairs while working alongside experienced technicians who can help you continue advancing your career. We aren't looking for someone who just wants to change oil. We're looking for someone who wants to become a better technician. Responsibilities Perform oil and filter changes and scheduled maintenance services Complete thorough digital vehicle inspections Perform tire rotations, mounting, balancing, flat repairs, and tire pressure adjustments Perform fluid exchanges and other preventative maintenance services Replace engine air filters, cabin filters, bulbs, wiper blades, and other maintenance items Perform basic brake inspections and repairs Assist with suspension and steering repairs based on experience level Perform basic mechanical repairs and troubleshooting Assist with wheel alignments and alignment inspections Use automotive diagnostic equipment to assist in identifying vehicle concerns Accurately document inspection findings, recommendations, and completed repairs Provide clear photos and documentation during vehicle inspections Properly use hand tools, power tools, lifts, tire equipment, and shop equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area Assist other technicians and team members when needed Follow all shop procedures and safety standards What We're Looking For Previous automotive repair, dealership, quick-lube, tire shop, or general service experience preferred Automotive school or technical training is a plus Basic understanding of automotive systems and mechanical repair Experience performing oil changes, tire services, inspections, and preventative maintenance Familiarity with brakes, steering, suspension, and alignments is a plus Comfortable using automotive hand tools and power tools Ability and willingness to learn new repair procedures and diagnostic techniques Strong attention to detail Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team Positive attitude and strong work ethic Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Must have or be willing to acquire basic automotive hand tools Ability to safely lift automotive components, work on your feet throughout the day, and perform the physical duties required in an automotive repair environment What We Offer Monday-Friday schedule
