Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests to ensure clear communication. Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and recommended services aligned with manufacturer specifications. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs. Upsell additional services by identifying customer needs for vehicle diagnostics, mechanical repairs, or preventive maintenance while maintaining transparency and trust. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently while maintaining detailed service writing records. Maintain a thorough understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems to answer customer questions confidently and provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance. Foster long-term customer relationships through exceptional service writing, follow-up communication, and personalized recommendations that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar auto service management role. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, tires, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and alignments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Experience in auto estimating software and automotive repair processes to generate accurate work orders. Demonstrated ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency with customers. Familiarity with service technician workflows and the ability to coordinate efficiently between customers and technicians.
