Mechanic

Schedule:

1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Voluntary overtime and Saturdays available Responsibilities Review work orders and intake sheets with the supervisor and lead mechanic Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on trucks, trailers, and diesel equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Assist with repairs on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery Read and interpret blueprints and schematics Work on equipment such as compressors, generators, concrete pumps, mixers, forklifts, loaders, and excavators (based on experience) Perform physical labor as needed Use hand tools and basic fabrication techniques for repairs and modifications Complete service documentation accurately Work closely with experienced mechanics for training and support Maintain and properly use personal mechanic tools Follow all company policies, including safety and drug screening requirements Qualifications 1+ year of mechanic experience (automotive, motorcycle, or diesel) Proficient with mechanic hand tools; Class I tools required Ability to perform inspections, PMs, and basic repairs Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Strong troubleshooting skills Ability to read schematics and blueprints Basic computer skills for service reporting (preferred) Preferred (Not Required) ASE certification Experience with concrete equipment, compressors, or generators Forklift, loader, or excavator experience Fabrication experience Background in industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environments You'll join a supportive shop where teamwork and communication matter.
