Job Description

Automotive Mechanic (ASE Certified)
Location:
Elizabeth, CO Compensation:
$20.00 - $38.00 per hour (based on experience and certifications) Why Join Our Team? We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Automotive Mechanic who not only meets but strives to perform above and beyond the required standards of this role. The Automotive Mechanic is responsible for the professional execution of maintenance and repair services, ensuring vehicle safety and consistent quality:
Vehicle Alignment & Suspension:
Safely drive and position customer vehicles onto the alignment machine. Perform thorough visual inspections of vehicles for abnormal tire wear, worn suspension components, and other faulty parts. Accurately perform wheel alignments to factory specifications. Secure all related components and safely remove vehicles from the alignment machine upon completion.
Brake and Drivetrain Service:
Diagnose, inspect, and perform required maintenance and repair of complex brake systems, including pads, rotors, and hydraulics. Inspect and repair related suspension components, tie rods, and control arms (where applicable).
Diagnostic and Quoting:
Identify all faulty parts and improper wear patterns during vehicle appraisals. Immediately report all findings to the supervisor to ensure prompt customer communication. Accurately build and prepare quotes for all necessary vehicle repairs.
Operational Compliance:
Operate all related equipment and precision tools safely and as trained. Effectively manage time, operate both independently and as a collaborative team member . Maintain accountability for the safe and clean condition of the workstation.
Required Qualifications Experience:
Minimum three (3) years of hands-on professional automotive repair experience. Certification (Critical): Must possess and maintain valid ASE Certifications (A4/Brakes, A5/Suspension & Steering preferred).
Work Schedule:
Must be able to work Saturdays as required by the business needs.
Technical Knowledge:
Advanced knowledge of tire wear diagnosis, suspension components, and modern alignment procedures.
Skill Set:
Demonstrated ability to perform above and beyond standard requirements, with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
