Job Description
The team at our Transwest RV location in Frederick is looking to bring on our next RV Assistant Service Manager. In this role, you will report to our RV Service Manager to manage the team and operations behind the RV Service department. Our idealcandidate must have prior management experience at least 5 years of experience working in the RV industry, particularly in the service department. If you have experience as a technician or service writer, that is a plus!

Perform quality assurance activities as directed through quality assurance inspections, random quality checks and training technicians in quality assurance.
Assist Service Manager in resolving customer complaints and general customer relations.
Schedule, assign, and supervise work with the objective of maximizing the balance of quality, productivity, and profit.
Supervise maintenance of tools and shop equipment.
Customer relations including maintaining relationships with insurance company personnel.
Quality Assurance - Review estimates and actual repair time. Labor Pricing.
Initial and on-going training and support of all service personnel.
Actively engage Service Manager and participate in annual marketing plan and budget for the shop.
Involved in regular monitoring of actual performance to plan and determine reasons for variance.
Develop and implement appropriate strategies and programs as necessary to attain the dealerships shop objectives.
Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed to maintain Elite Certification.
Carry out established company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
Climbing in and out of vehicles.
Occasional stooping and bending.
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 45 lbs.
Normal range of hearing and vision.
Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
Minimum 5 years' RV service experienceDealership experience preferred.
Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
