Golden, Colorado Employment:
Full-time Reports to: Service Manager / Operations Manager The role TOURIG is seeking an experienced Suspension & Vehicle Upfit Technician with specific expertise in premium suspension, driveline, and off-road vehicle upgrades. You will install and service high-quality systems and accessories including advanced suspension packages and air-locking differentials. These are expensive, safety-critical components, and we expect precise installation, strong mechanical judgment, and exceptional attention to detail. You will join an adventure-focused business with skilled, supportive colleagues, strong teamwork, and a shared commitment to producing work worthy of the best brand in the industry. Responsibilities Install premium suspension systems, shocks, struts, springs, control arms, sway bars, lift systems, and related chassis components - including Quigley QLift, Agile Offroad, KING, Evictus and comparable high-end products. Install brakes, air lockers, underbody protection, recovery equipment, and other vehicle upgrades. Diagnose suspension, steering, handling, vibration, clearance, and driveline concerns. Verify torque, fitment, alignment requirements, component clearances, and installation quality. Perform inspections, mechanical repairs, quality-control checks, and road tests. Document completed work and communicate technical findings clearly. Qualifications Professional automotive repair, suspension, off-road, or vehicle-upfit experience. Demonstrated expertise installing premium aftermarket suspension and road-going performance equipment. Strong knowledge of suspension, steering, braking, chassis, and driveline systems. Ability to work accurately with complex, high-value components and manufacturer specifications. Strong diagnostic ability and uncompromising attention to safety and workmanship. Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience with Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ford Transit, four-wheel-drive systems, alignments, fabrication, or ASE certification is particularly valuable.
Pay:
$27.00 - $42.00 per hour
