Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues. You will work on a variety of vehicles and be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our customers. Your expertise in automotive repair will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations. Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment. Work with schematics to understand vehicle systems and components for effective repairs. Conduct alignment services to ensure proper vehicle handling and tire wear. Repair or replace transmissions as needed, ensuring optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during repairs. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Collaborate with other technicians to enhance skills and share knowledge regarding automotive technologies such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in automotive service. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role, preferably with dealership experience. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles, including powertrain systems, automotive diagnostics, and electrical systems. Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. Experience with diesel engine repair is advantageous but not required. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately. Ability to perform auto estimating for repairs based on customer needs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive service are preferred but not mandatory.
