Duties Perform comprehensive inspections of used vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic issues. Repair and recondition vehicles by replacing or repairing parts such as brakes, suspension components, transmissions, engines, and electrical systems. Conduct diagnostics using advanced automotive scan tools and schematics to accurately pinpoint issues. Execute repairs on diesel engines, powertrain systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other mechanical systems with precision. Complete routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repairs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to ensure quality workmanship. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely vehicle turnaround. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Expertise in working with schematics, automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, and heavy equipment mechanics. Proficiency in diesel engine repair, transmission repair, suspension system repair, wheel alignments, and brake systems. Familiarity with automotive service standards including oil changes, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and powertrain maintenance. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately. Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software is preferred.
