Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Experienced Trailer Technician, Truck Accessory and Bed Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining cargo, utility, and equipment trailers, as well as installing a variety of truck accessories to enhance functionality and safety. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, meets safety standards, and exceeds customer expectations. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections, repairs, and maintenance on trailers, including brake systems, electrical wiring, suspension, and structural components. Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble trailer parts accurately and efficiently. Install truck accessories such as bumpers, toolboxes, racks, hitches, and other custom modifications according to specifications. Maintain detailed service records for all repairs and installations performed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and develop effective solutions. Adhere to safety protocols at all times to create a secure working environment for yourself and others. Install After Market Truck Beds, Utility Beds, Flatbeds, Dump Bodies, etc. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working on trailers. Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and ratchets; experience with power tools is essential. Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures including brake systems, electrical wiring, suspension components, and structural repairs. Some welding and minor fabrication is a must. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail to ensure high-quality work. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain technical issues clearly. A proactive attitude with the motivation to learn new skills and stay current on industry best practices.
