This is a hands-on position working both in our Littleton auto studio and on mobile detailing jobs throughout the Denver metro area. Our technicians perform services ranging from interior and exterior detailing to paint correction and ceramic coatings . We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, coachable, customer-ready, and interested in developing a career—not simply picking up another hourly job. You don't have to know everything on day one. We care heavily about work ethic, integrity, attention to detail, reliability, and your ability to learn and follow our systems.
Compensation & Growth Starting Pay:
$18-$21/hour + tips + upsell commissions New technicians begin hourly while learning our systems and demonstrating that they can consistently perform work to 5280 standards. From there, technicians can progress into commission-based pay , creating significantly more earning potential based on productivity and performance.

Schedule This is a full-time position requiring approximately 5-6 days per week.
Typical working hours are approximately:
8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Actual hours can vary depending on the day's appointments, mobile routes, job size, and workload. Weekend availability is required. What You'll Do Technicians are responsible for completing services safely, efficiently, and according to 5280's standards, including: Interior detailing and deep cleaning Exterior detailing Professional hand washing Wheels, tires, wheel wells, glass, and trim Vacuuming and interior cleaning Carpet and upholstery cleaning Vehicle decontamination Paint correction and polishing as trained Ceramic coating preparation and installation as trained Using polishers, extractors, pressure washers, vacuums, steamers, and detailing equipment Completing pre-service vehicle inspections Identifying and documenting existing damage Taking required before-and-after photos Following job checklists and company SOPs Maintaining quality-control standards Completing jobs within expected timeframes Keeping the shop and mobile units clean and organized Restocking chemicals and supplies Properly maintaining company equipment Identifying appropriate customer upsell opportunities Helping generate customer reviews Communicating professionally with customers Immediately reporting damage, mistakes, delays, or customer concerns Working independently when assigned solo jobs Working effectively with other technicians on team jobs Working outdoors during mobile appointments in varying Colorado weather Requirements We're looking for someone who: Is 18+ Has a valid driver's license Has a clean/acceptable driving record Has dependable transportation Can reliably work 5-6 days per week Can work weekends Can work independently without constant supervision Is comfortable driving company vehicles when required Can follow detailed instructions, checklists, and SOPs Has strong attention to detail Is dependable and punctual Takes accountability for mistakes Has integrity and can be trusted around customers' vehicles and belongings Is comfortable interacting professionally with customers Can work indoors and outdoors Can perform physically demanding detailing work throughout the day Is willing to learn new detailing techniques Wants to improve and take on additional responsibility Position Summary Professional detailing experience is preferred, but we will consider less-experienced candidates who demonstrate strong work ethic, reliability, coachability, and attention to detail. Experience with paint correction, ceramic coatings, polishers, extractors, steamers, or other professional detailing equipment is a plus.
