Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex problems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and diesel engines. Complete detailed auto estimating for repairs while maintaining high standards of quality control and customer communication. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while working on heavy equipment mechanics or automotive electrical systems. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop environments. Extensive knowledge of automotive mechanical systems including transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical systems. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, ADAS technology, air brake systems, and automotive diagnostics. Proficiency with schematics interpretation and the use of diagnostic software for accurate troubleshooting. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and maintenance needs.
