Job Description

Technician — Nick's Automotive Repair Steamboat Springs, CO | Full-Time Nick's Automotive is a family owned local Yampa Valley repair shop. We value honesty, accuracy, and a positive attitude. Role:
Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles (gas, diesel, and light truck) to ASE and NAPA Auto Care standards. Duties include multi-point inspections, scheduled maintenance (oil changes, brakes, fluids, filters), diagnostic troubleshooting using OEM and aftermarket scan tools, and documenting all work via
NAPA TRACS
work orders. Collaborate with the service advisor to explain findings, recommend repairs, and provide accurate time/parts estimates. Maintain a clean, organized, safety-compliant bay.
Requirements:
ASE certification preferred (or actively pursuing) 2+ years hands-on automotive repair experience preferred Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record Familiarity with shop management software (NAPA TRACS) a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical staff/customers

Schedule Pay:
