The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards while ensuring customer satisfaction. Technician Responsibilities Assist other technicians with their work when needed, team players wanted Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Technician Qualifications Previous Automotive Technician experience required Must have your own tools ASE certifications preferred Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment Able to work on all makes and models Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required Valid driver's license Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality Enjoy working in a dynamic environment Ability to collaborate effectively Benefits include: Health Insurance Life Insurance Paid vacation 401k plan
