Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Service Manager with Service Advisor experience. to lead our service department. Responsibilities Lead and manage the entire service department, ensuring smooth daily operations and high-quality service delivery. Supervise and motivate technicians. Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs. Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards and adheres to safety regulations. Manage customer interactions by providing expert advice, explaining repair options clearly, and ensuring complete satisfaction. Drive sales through upselling additional services such as auto estimating, service writing, and vehicle accessories while maintaining integrity. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all service activities. Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies to ensure timely service completion. Implement training programs to keep the team updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Skills Proven service advisor experience. Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures. Skilled in upselling services while maintaining excellent customer relationships. Proficiency in auto estimating software and service writing processes. Strong understanding of automotive repair areas including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, alignments, suspensions, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body work. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building trust and loyalty. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing multiple priorities efficiently. $62,601.05 - $80,000.00 per year
