United Site Services is seeking a Trailer Technician to keep our service trailers and field equipment safe, reliable, and ready for demanding construction and event sites. In this hands-on role, you'll inspect, diagnose, and repair trailers, brakes, lighting, tires, and hitches while performing routine preventive maintenance and DOT/safety checks. You'll work in a fast-paced, safety-first environment, coordinating with operations teams, maintaining accurate repair records, and helping ensure dependable site solutions for customers nationwide. Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair service trailers and related equipment Perform preventive maintenance on brakes, lights, axles, tires, and hitches Complete DOT and safety inspections to ensure regulatory compliance Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders Operate basic shop tools and equipment safely Coordinate repairs and parts needs with supervisors and vendors Support field teams with on-site trailer service as needed Follow all safety, PPE, and company operational procedures Required Skills Trailer inspection and repair Brake systems maintenance12 V electrical and lighting repair Tire and wheel service Preventive maintenance scheduling DOT and safety compliance Hydraulic or lift system basics Use of hand and power tools Reading work orders and manuals Maintenance recordkeeping
