Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and mechanical systems. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks effectively. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately. Work on diesel engine repair and alignment tasks as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and required services. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs. Skills Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform complex repairs on various vehicle systems. Experience with auto body repair is a plus. Excellent customer service skills to enhance client relationships. Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting. Welding skills are advantageous for certain repair tasks. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices and procedures.
