Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. If you have a passion for automobiles and a strong mechanical aptitude, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine malfunctions, electrical problems, and brake failures
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues or safety concerns
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems
- Complete necessary repairs efficiently and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends
- Must have own tools
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems
- Proficient in using power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repairs
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Skills:
- Transmission repair and maintenance
- Proficiency in using power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair various automotive issues
- Knowledge of auto estimating software for accurate cost estimation
- Brake repair and maintenance expertise
- Suspension and shocks/struts repair knowledge
