This shop has served its community for 40 years and has built a reputation for honest work, strong customer relationships, and delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. Your hands-on skills and customer-focused approach will ensure every vehicle leaves the shop performing at its best, fostering trust and satisfaction with our valued clients. This paid position offers opportunities for growth, skill development, and the chance to work with cutting-edge automotive technology. Duties Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing worn parts, adjusting components, and ensuring optimal operation of engines, steering, brakes, and suspension systems, cooling systems repairs, A/C component replacement, alternator and starters. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to troubleshoot electrical problems and install new wiring or electronic components. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake repairs to uphold safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery efficiently to complete repairs with precision. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations for maintenance needs, and ensuring a positive experience for every client. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair procedures. Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to vehicle systems. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Ability to interpret automotive diagnostics data accurately using advanced diagnostic tools. Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards. Customer service skills that foster trust through clear communication and professional conduct. Qualifications 5+ years experience as and Automotive Technician Experience working on Asian vehicles (European experience is a plus) Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Own professional tools Valid driver's license Strong communication and organizational skills Self starter who takes initiative and works well in small team environment Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay starting at $35/hr with potential to earn MORE Paid holidays Paid vacations Consistent Monday -Friday schedule with no weekends
