Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, vehicle suspension systems, transmissions, electrical wiring diagrams interpretation, and diesel engines. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts with precision. Interpret automotive schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical problems accurately. Repair or replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, steering systems, and alignments to restore optimal vehicle performance. Diagnose issues related to vehicle systems like ADAS calibration or electrical system malfunctions using specialized diagnostic equipment. Ensure all work complies with dealership standards and safety regulations while delivering excellent customer service by clearly explaining repairs and maintenance needs. Requirements Proven dealership experience or service technician experience demonstrating a solid understanding of automotive repair processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair across diverse makes and models. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools, schematics interpretation, and automotive electrical systems troubleshooting. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not required. Ability to perform complex repairs including powertrain overhaul, vehicle transmission system repair, suspension system repair, wheel alignments, welding, and diesel engine repairs. Familiarity with automotive wiring diagram interpretation and the use of automotive electrical systems diagnostic equipment. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
