Job Description
Recreational Vehicle Technician Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various systems within RVs to ensure safety, functionality, and customer satisfaction. This role requires proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and a solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems specific to recreational vehicles. The RV Technician will perform a range of repairs including electrical diagnostics, plumbing repairs, roof repairs, slide-out repairs, and appliance servicing such as refrigerators and air conditioning units. Duties Diagnose and repair electrical systems within RVs, including troubleshooting RV electrical system diagnostics and performing electrical repairs. Use hand tools and power tools to conduct repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately. Repair and maintain RV plumbing systems, ensuring proper function of water lines, pumps, and related components. Conduct roof repairs, including sealing leaks and replacing damaged roofing materials. Service and fix appliances such as refrigerators and air conditioning units to ensure optimal operation. Perform slide-out repairs to restore or improve the extendable sections of RVs for safe operation. Address various mechanical issues related to RV systems with attention to detail and safety standards. Utilize knowledge of power experience to troubleshoot electrical supply issues when necessary. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle serviced. Skills Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for repair work. Strong knowledge of RV electrical systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques. Experience with RV plumbing system repair and maintenance. Ability to perform roof repairs, slide-out repairs, and appliance servicing such as AC units and refrigerators. Familiarity with power systems is preferred for troubleshooting electrical supply issues. Carpentry skills are beneficial for certain structural or interior repair tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards in all repair activities. Good communication skills to explain repair processes clearly to customers or team members.
