- Vacation and Holiday pay What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership - familiarizing yourself with the service department and procedures.
- Assist Service Advisor in test-driving vehicles and testing components and systems. You will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and qualifications.
- Ability to correctly diagnose and identify a problem quickly. What are the requirements for this job?
- Have proper tools to perform needed maintenance and repairs
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Good reading, computer and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Minimum of + years as an Automotive Technician
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Computer Skills
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Valid Drivers License
- Pre-employment drug and background screening
