Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving issues across a variety of vehicle systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Duties Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend repairs. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, and brake repair. Repair and replace components of various systems including transmissions, powertrain, alignment, suspension, shocks & struts, and air brakes. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance. Work with automotive electrical systems to troubleshoot electrical issues. Interpret schematics to assist in the repair process. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Assist with auto estimating for repairs and services. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic; dealership experience is a plus. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques. Knowledge of diesel engine repair is preferred. Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is an advantage. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, alignment, suspension, and more. Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience with auto body repair is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems. Welding skills are a plus but not required.
