Amazing sales is top priority but also we need a hard worker that pays attention to detail. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team at American Auto Repair. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their service needs are met with professionalism and expertise. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively relay information between customers and technicians. Duties Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs. Provide detailed explanations of services required, including tire service, oil changes, and automotive diagnostics. Utilize service writing skills to create accurate work orders and ensure all customer requests are documented. Collaborate with technicians to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance services. Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition. Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Stay updated on dealership promotions, service offerings, and industry trends. Experience Previous experience in a Independent automotive repair shop or dealership is preferred. Familiarity with diesel engine repair, , and general vehicle maintenance is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Experience in upselling services or products within an automotive context is advantageous. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and understanding of various vehicle systems is desirable.
