Blackwidow Auto Repair & Sales, LLC is a family-owned, full-service automotive repair shop looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our growing team. We work on all makes and models, including gas and diesel vehicles , and service everything from everyday family vehicles and fleet vehicles to performance vehicles and work trucks. We are looking for a skilled, dependable technician who can diagnose problems accurately, perform quality repairs, work independently, and be a positive part of our team. Responsibilities As an A-Level Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems, including but not limited to: Mechanical and electrical diagnostics Check-engine-light and drivability diagnostics Battery, starting, charging, and electrical systems A/C system diagnosis and repair Brake diagnosis and repair Steering and suspension Preventative maintenance Complete vehicle inspections Tune-ups and general engine performance repairs Shock and strut replacement Timing system repairs Head gasket and major engine repairs Test-driving vehicles to verify customer concerns and completed repairs Testing components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialty service equipment Accurately documenting inspection findings, diagnosis, recommended repairs, and completed work Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area Diagnostic computers and specialty diagnostic equipment are supplied by the shop. Requirements 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities Must hold a valid driver's license Must have reliable transportation Must have your own professional automotive tools Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented Strong attention to detail Positive and professional attitude Focused on maintaining a high level of quality and customer service Able to properly test-drive and verify vehicle repairs We are looking for a true A-Level technician who can diagnose the cause of a problem—not simply replace parts.
