$24-30/hour based on experience Company Vehicle Provided During Work Hours Join a Growing Local Vacation Rental Company Sandy Feet Vacation Rentals is looking for a dependable, skilled, and motivated Maintenance Technician to help care for our growing portfolio of vacation homes throughout Pinellas County. This is more than just a repair position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, communicates well, and has the potential to grow into a Maintenance Manager role as our company continues to expand. The ideal candidate is someone who is hands-on and enjoys being out in the field, but also has the organization and leadership skills needed to eventually help oversee maintenance operations, coordinate vendors, prioritize projects, and support a team. Every day is different. You may be repairing a small issue at one property, troubleshooting an appliance problem at another, preparing homes for guests, or helping improve the overall quality and efficiency of our maintenance department. What You'll Be Doing Perform general home repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues Complete work orders and communicate updates clearly with the team Inspect properties to identify maintenance needs before they become problems Help keep vacation homes safe, functional, and guest-ready Handle occasional after-hours emergency maintenance needs Coordinate with vendors when specialized repairs are needed Maintain accurate notes, photos, and updates for completed work Help develop maintenance processes and procedures as the department grows Leadership Opportunity For the right person, this position has the opportunity to grow into a Maintenance Manager role . We are looking for someone who can eventually: Help prioritize and assign maintenance tasks Communicate effectively with owners, guests, vendors, and team members Assist with training and supporting additional maintenance staff Help improve systems, organization, and efficiency within the department Take ownership of the overall condition of our properties What We're Looking For Previous maintenance, construction, handyman, or property management experience preferred Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Reliable, organized, and able to manage your time independently Good communication skills and a professional attitude Comfortable interacting with guests, homeowners, vendors, and coworkers Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and home systems Leadership experience is a plus Valid driver's license required What We Offer $24-30/hour based on experience and skill level Company vehicle during work hours Full-time, year-round position Variety of work throughout beautiful Pinellas County Supportive, local team environment Opportunity for career growth and advancement Chance to make a direct impact on guest experiences and property quality Schedule Full-time position (40 hours/week)
