Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service, keeping their vehicles running smoothly and safely. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs and welding tasks when necessary. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems efficiently. Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other electronic systems to ensure vehicle safety features are functioning correctly. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and providing professional recommendations. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership settings preferred. Hands-on experience repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and auto estimating tools is a plus. Knowledge of GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not required. Demonstrated mechanical knowledge across various automotive systems including electrical, suspension, brakes, transmissions, and powertrain components. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy-duty maintenance machinery. Strong understanding of automotive schematics, mechanical systems repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance standards.
