ABOUT THE POSITION

DriveCenter Complete Auto Care is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician for our established independent repair shop in Ocala, Florida. This is a full time position for a dependable technician who can diagnose vehicle concerns, complete repairs efficiently, and work independently without sacrificing quality. PAY $35 to $60 per hour based on experience, productivity, diagnostic ability, and repair capabilities. Technicians with advanced diagnostic skills and a proven production history may qualify for the top of the range.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns Diagnose check engine lights, drivability problems, no start conditions, overheating issues, and charging system failures Perform brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, air conditioning, and engine performance repairs Complete scheduled maintenance, fluid services, battery services, tire services, alignments, and inspections Use professional scan tools, testing equipment, wiring diagrams, and service information Complete thorough Digital Vehicle Inspections with accurate notes and photos Clearly communicate repair findings to Service Advisors Complete repairs according to manufacturer procedures and industry standards Maintain strong productivity while delivering quality workmanship Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe

QUALIFICATIONS

Five or more years of professional automotive repair experience preferred Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently Experience with electrical systems, engine performance, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and air conditioning Experience working on domestic and Asian vehicles European vehicle experience is a plus ASE certifications are preferred but not required Experience using professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment Must own a professional set of automotive tools Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable, organized, and committed to quality workmanship

SCHEDULE

Full time, day shift Five day workweek Rotating Saturdays required One weekday off during scheduled Saturday weeks No overnight shifts
