Job Description

At CEPRA Landscape, we design, build, and maintain world-class landscapes and cultivate the people behind them. As a privately owned company, we specialize in commercial landscape maintenance and construction, proudly serving the Central and West Coast Florida markets. Our Mechanics are essential to keeping our equipment and vehicles running safely and efficiently. They perform regular maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, and ensure all tools, equipment and vehicles are in top working condition to support our operations teams. We currently have an immediate opening for an experienced Mechanic to support our branches that operate out of Ocoee, FL.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of equipment and vehicles, including: Production vehicles (trucks, van and automobiles) Two-cycle equipment (weed eaters, edgers, blowers) ATV Equipment Commercial mowers and other turf equipment Landscape trailers (open and enclosed) Various small engine machinery Manage inventory, parts and supplies ensuing necessary components are on hand for timely repairs Prioritize repair tasks to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency Maintain accurate and organized digital records of maintenance and repairs performed Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers and team members regarding parts, repairs and equipment needs Ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace adhering to all company safety guidelines Operate company trucks and trailers safely when transporting equipment Assist with troubleshooting and problem solving for complex mechanical issues
Qualifications:
Valid Florida driver's license with a clean record Proven experience in equipment repair and maintenance (landscape equipment preferred) Knowledge of small engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and basic vehicle repairs Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety and quality in all work performed Basic computer skills with the ability to track and document equipment repairs and maintenance
