This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills working on a variety of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical components. You will gain hands-on experience in diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and repairing vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. Responsibilities Assist with routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs using hand tools and power tools. Support senior technicians in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using automotive diagnostics equipment and schematics. Perform repairs on automotive suspension systems, shocks & struts, brakes, transmissions, and powertrain components under supervision. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify problems with diesel engines, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and other mechanical systems. Use automotive electrical systems knowledge to troubleshoot wiring issues and replace faulty components. Help maintain accurate service records and assist with auto estimating processes for repairs. Follow safety procedures including proper use of welding equipment and heavy equipment mechanics tools during repairs. Experience Prior dealership experience or hands-on work in the automotive repair industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated newcomers. Familiarity with automotive schematics, mechanical systems repair, and vehicle maintenance practices is a plus. Basic understanding of diesel engine repair, transmission repair, alignment procedures, and tire service is advantageous. Experience working with automotive electrical systems or heavy equipment mechanics is beneficial but not mandatory.
