Job Summary We are seeking an Automotive Mechanic. You will be responsible for repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, keeping their vehicles in top condition. The ideal candidate is familiar about automotive repair, possesses mechanical knowledge, and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical tools efficiently for repairs and adjustments. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair procedures to execute repairs precisely according to manufacturer specifications. At times, provides customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership settings preferred. Hands-on experience with mechanical systems repair, and automotive electrical systems. Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), GM vehicles familiarity is a plus. Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance tasks such as suspension repairs and brake services efficiently. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to work independently or on a team. Pay is by the number of hours each job requires. We have been in business for 43 years in the Pace Community.
