AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN USED & NEW VEHICLE SERVICE / RECONDITIONING

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing dealership team. This position will work with both used and new vehicles , with a strong focus on inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning vehicles to ensure they meet our dealership's standards before being offered for sale. RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect and recondition used vehicles for retail sale Perform comprehensive used vehicle safety and mechanical inspections Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns Complete necessary repairs identified during the reconditioning process Perform maintenance and repairs on new and used vehicles Complete brakes, tires, batteries, fluid services, alignments, and other mechanical repairs Identify additional repairs needed to meet dealership safety and quality standards Perform pre-delivery inspections and new vehicle preparation as assigned Accurately document repairs, inspections, and recommendations Work efficiently with the Used Car Department, Service Advisors, Parts Department, and management Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow dealership and manufacturer repair and safety procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous automotive technician experience preferred Used vehicle reconditioning experience is a plus Ability to work on multiple makes and models Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities Ability to complete repairs efficiently without sacrificing quality Must have your own basic automotive tools Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team ASE and/or manufacturer certifications are a plus
