Experienced Quick Lube Technician / Service Advisor Pelican Car Wash - 3.0 Palm Harbor, FL Job Details Full-time From $15 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Oil change English Driver's License Dealership experience Full Job Description Job Overview Pelican Car Wash & Quick Lube is hiring an experienced technician for our two-bay oil shop. We need someone who is strong technically and comfortable talking with customers, explaining legitimate service needs, and referring repair opportunities to our on-site mechanic shop. This is not an entry-level opening. You should be able to perform top-side and bottom-side service safely, work efficiently, and help keep vehicles moving without cutting corners. You'll work alongside our oil-shop manager, who has been with Pelican for over 25 years. Responsibilities Perform conventional and full-synthetic oil changes Work independently on top-side and bottom-side service Check fluids, filters, tire pressure, batteries, wipers, lights, and visible leaks Complete a consistent multipoint vehicle inspection Explain findings and recommend appropriate maintenance services Identify legitimate repair needs and connect customers with our mechanic shop Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records in Shopmonkey Keep the oil shop clean, organized, and safe Provide friendly service that brings customers back What We're Looking For Hands-on quick-lube, dealership express-service, or automotive-maintenance experience required Two or more years of experience preferred Customer-service and sales ability Comfortable recommending services without using high-pressure tactics Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet Weekend availability Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus Schedule Full-time, five-day schedule No late evenings Long-term position with a locally owned Palm Harbor business operating since 1987 To apply, send your resume or a short summary of your experience.
