Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to enhance handling and safety standards. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems within complex vehicle electrical systems. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts with precision. Diagnose and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) features to ensure modern safety technologies function correctly. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate effectively with customers about repairs needed and completed. Requirements Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, including diesel engine repair and vehicle transmission system repair. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic procedures. Experience working with automotive diagnostic tools and understanding vehicle systems such as powertrain, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical components. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics confidently to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to addressing client needs. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, and other automotive service tools effectively. $15.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 50.0 per week
