Full-Time Starting Pay:

$17/hour Propane Ninja is looking for a motivated, dependable Service Technician Trainee to join our growing team. This is an entry-level, non-CDL technician role designed for someone who wants to learn the propane industry, build hands-on field skills, and grow into a long-term career through our tiered Service Technician advancement path . No propane experience is required. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in doing quality work, and wants a clear path to increased responsibility, technical training, and career growth.

A strong candidate will be:

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather Able to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and perform physical field work Detail-oriented and safety-minded Professional in appearance and communication Willing to learn technical skills and grow within the company Able to follow instructions, complete tasks efficiently, and take ownership of their work Customer Relationship Personal Evolution Autonomy Administrative Work Technical Expertise What You'll Do Installing and replacing propane tank monitoring devices Replacing, updating, and maintaining retail propane cage signage Assisting with basic service-related projects in the field Following company safety procedures and propane industry standards Maintaining a professional appearance and delivering the "Ninja Standard" on every job Communicating clearly with team members, supervisors, and customers when needed Keeping tools, materials, and work areas organized and ready for use Must Have Valid driver's license with a clean/reliable driving record Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing Ability to perform physical work throughout the day, including lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors Willingness to complete required training, develop technical skills, and grow into higher-level field responsibilities Nice to have Prior field, maintenance, warehouse, mechanical, landscaping, construction, or hands-on work experience is helpful but not required

CDL:

not required for this entry-level position; however, obtaining a CDL and Hazmat endorsement is an important advancement milestone for team members who want to progress into the next tier of the Service Technician path as an Installation Technician .
