Position Overview The Automotive Service Advisor is the primary point of contact between our customers and the repair team. You will guide customers through the entire repair process, clearly explain inspection results and repair recommendations, provide timely updates, and help ensure every customer leaves satisfied. This is a fast-paced, sales-driven position requiring strong communication, organization, customer-service, and automotive knowledge. The right candidate will be able to build customer trust, present repair solutions confidently and ethically, achieve sales goals, and help coordinate the shop's daily workflow. We invest heavily in marketing and generating customer opportunities. We need experienced Service Advisors who can build relationships, follow up consistently, and turn those opportunities into satisfied, long-term customers. Qualifications Minimum of three years of sales experience required Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance, and repair Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and performance goals Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills Ability to explain technical information in terms customers can easily understand Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional appearance and attitude Comfortable using Windows-based software and automotive shop-management systems Ability to learn and apply new processes quickly Positive, team-oriented attitude Dependable, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Desire for continued professional development and long-term career growth Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Primary Responsibilities Greet every customer warmly, professionally, and respectfully Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their needs Review digital vehicle inspections and present recommended services clearly Explain repair options in a way customers can easily understand Prepare accurate estimates and obtain customer authorization Communicate vehicle status, pricing, and completion timelines Follow up on pending recommendations and declined services Consistently and ethically promote the services needed to properly maintain and repair each customer's vehicle Meet established sales, customer-service, and performance goals Coordinate with technicians, parts personnel, and management to maintain an efficient workflow Accurately document customer communications and work performed on each repair order Verify that completed repairs meet company specifications and quality standards Coordinate company loaner vehicles when appropriate Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming customer lobby Build lasting customer relationships that encourage trust, loyalty, and repeat business Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a respectful, team-oriented workplace Assist coworkers and management as needed Perform other duties reasonably assigned to support shop operations and customer satisfaction Physical and Work Requirements Ability to remain on your feet for much of the workday Ability to walk between the front office, shop, parking area, and parts area Ability to occasionally lift or move more than 50 pounds Ability to work efficiently at a computer and navigate multiple software systems Ability to maintain a brisk and organized work pace in a high-volume environment Reliable attendance and punctuality are required Schedule Full-time Day shift Eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Health savings account Paid time off Paid holidays Paid continuing education and professional development Employee discounts Shop benefits, including oil changes, repair discounts, and more Opportunities for advancement within a growing company
