Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service experiences to our customers, ensuring their vehicles operate smoothly and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity for technicians who thrive on problem-solving, technical precision, and delivering top-tier automotive service. Duties Conduct thorough diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, electrical systems, transmissions, and other vehicle components. Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including engine repairs, powertrain work, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical systems. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and repair procedures accurately. Repair or replace mechanical parts using hand tools and power tools efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Perform wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to customers. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and diesel engine repairs as needed. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician experience working with a variety of vehicles is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and diesel engines. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues. Hands-on experience with automotive repair tools including hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Ability to work efficiently on GM vehicles or similar makes with a focus on quality workmanship. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and build trust with clients. Prior experience in alignment services and ADAS calibration is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
