Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests Identify mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment Repair or replace faulty parts and systems Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs Maintain accurate repair and service records Communicate repair recommendations and timelines to customers or service advisors Follow safety procedures and company standards Keep work area clean and organized Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED must have tools Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and repair procedures Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Preferred Qualifications ASE certification(s) Experience with domestic and foreign vehicles HVAC, diesel, or electrical system experience Vocational or technical school training
