The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, with a focus on performance applications and hot rod modifications. This role requires hands-on expertise in installing and tuning engine components, as well as a solid understanding of automotive systems. The Automotive Technician will play a key role in ensuring our customers' vehicles operate at peak performance and safety standards. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including performance and hot rod applications. Install distributors and set up carburetors to ensure optimal engine performance. Use timing lights to accurately set ignition timing, ensuring engines run smoothly and efficiently. Conduct routine inspections and identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools. Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings effectively to team members and customers. Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all repair procedures. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and performance modifications to provide expert advice and service. Experience Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in automotive repair shops or performance garages. Must be able to install a distributor, set and use a timing light, and set up carburetors effectively. General understanding of hot rod and performance applications is required. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of automotive systems, engines, and tuning techniques. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Pay:
