About the job Ray Gordon Brake Service is looking for an Experienced Automotive Brake Technician to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented technician who is able to properly diagnose automotive issues, machine drums and rotors as needed, along with other duties, and is a quick learner and problem solver. Responsibilities Set racks properly. Test drive, inspect, and properly diagnose vehicles. Perform proper repairs. Mount Wheels properly. Torque Wheels to correct vehicle specification. Machine drums and rotors. Maintain shop equipment. Communicate clearly with the service writer, manager, and co-workers. Help other technicians with additional tasks as needed. Maintain clean and organized repair areas. Help as requested. Experience and Qualifications Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds unassisted. Computer knowledge and automotive diagnostic skills required. Minimum 10 years of experience working in a professional shop. Must have hand and power tools, and toolbox. ASE certification preferred, but not required.
